Last Wednesday, I went to my first physical in easily 8 or more years. I went primarily because the machines at the grocery store were telling me I had high blood pressure ("normal" is typically 120/80).
Sure enough, after several tests, the doctor was concerned about how high it was. Above that, he said he heard a heart murmur. After an EKG, the doc told me I had homework. He asked that throughout the next week, I visit places with the blood pressure machines and keep a log. Instead, I went out and bought a wrist monitor late Thursday night.
Here's the log so far. Saturday (7/28) I spent a HORRID day at Comic-Con and didn't get a chance to monitor my pressure. I know it would have been through the roof and I'm surprised it was as low as it was when I got home.
[UPDATE 8/2, 2:45PM] I'm on the way to the doctor and he's going to see everything below. Can't wait.
