So, I was wrong.

It's been one month since there was any movement next door. We figured that Silver Reign had moved out, or jumped rent. The blinds were trashed and you could see right into the place. There was still furniture in the apartment and someone had been getting her mail.

No sooner had I commented to Connie, "Weird...someone is getting her mail," did I hear the cries of a baby. Sure enough, she's back.

It's been quiet since around 9pm tonight, but I know my luck and I'm sure I'll be up at 5am. If anyone has a lead on an affordable two-bedroom on the Westside (Montana to the north, Doheny to the east, ocean to the west), do share.
