TWO YEARS
Today marks my second year in California.
It doesn't feel like two years. Sometimes it feels like more, sometimes less. Lately I've been thinking about home more. Connie and I haven't been home in almost a year and the weather out here reminds me of those early spring days in the midwest when there's still snow on the ground, but it's 49 degrees out and you roll the windows down anyway.
This place has been good to me and I've managed to covet my own little piece of Hollywood. I've seen two new people come into this world, and had a few great friends roll out of town.
So I continue into year three, and I think it's getting better and better. I've opened more doors than I really ever thought I could and I'm really having fun doing it.
Also as a note, we've been here for two years and some of you still owe us visits.
